The OHS requirement for fall protection mandates a 10ft tie-off. Does your company adhere to this standard, or have you established a different tie-off height?

We adhere to the OH&S standard.
We have a 6 foot fall protection requirement. We use retractable lanyards to limit fall distance as with a 6 ft tie off a shock absorbing lanyard is not a good option due to free fall distance.
Our tie off policy states that any worker that is working at or above 6 feet without proper railing must be tied of to an approved anchor point
Fall protection is required at heights > 6’ which may consist of guardrails, travel restraint, fall arrest system etc.
Fall Protection – Employees that have to work at height (greater that 1.8 m/6ft. recertification every 3 years
We use 6 feet.
We follow a 6 foot rule currently but we are challenging that to conform with the 10 foot OHS standard.
