We adhere to all provincial standards for fall protection

We adhere to the OH&S standard.

We have a 6 foot fall protection requirement.  We use retractable lanyards to limit fall distance as with a 6 ft tie off a shock absorbing lanyard is not a good option due to free fall distance.

Our tie off policy states that any worker that is working at or above 6 feet without proper railing must be tied of to an approved anchor point

Fall protection is required at heights  > 6’ which may consist of guardrails, travel restraint, fall arrest system etc.

Fall Protection – Employees that have to work at height  (greater that 1.8 m/6ft. recertification every 3 years

We use 6 feet.

We follow a 6 foot rule currently but we are challenging that to conform with the 10 foot OHS standard.

our site wide fall protection standard is anything over 6ft requires tie off.
